Warranty term and eligibility

The warranty provider named above provides a 12-month limited warranty from the date of delivery for new Dajepot cookers and genuine Dajepot components purchased directly from Dajepot or from an authorized seller for normal household use.

This warranty is available to the original purchaser and the original gift recipient with proof of purchase. Product registration is not required. An order number or another reasonable purchase record can establish the purchase.

The warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship arising during normal use in accordance with the product instructions. We will provide service for covered products sold and delivered by Dajepot to the relevant destination. Please contact us before seeking service at a different destination so we can confirm electrical suitability and service arrangements. Relocation does not itself remove statutory rights.

Report a fault as soon as reasonably possible. A covered claim reported during the warranty term remains valid while we assess it or arrange service, even if the term ends before service is completed.

What is covered

Coverage may include a manufacturing defect in the cooker base, heating system, controls, lid, power cord, ceramic inner pot, steaming tray, or another genuine component included with the product or purchased separately.

Coverage of a defective component does not mean that every component is included in each replacement shipment. Working parts and accessories normally remain with you for continued use.

Normal wear, accidental damage, and other exclusions described below are different from a manufacturing defect.

How replacement service works

Our usual remedy for an approved fault is to provide a new replacement for the defective component or assembly. For a fault inside the powered base, this normally means a complete replacement base assembly rather than asking you to repair internal electrical parts.

We may arrange a safe repair or provide a replacement cooker assembly when needed to restore function. If repair or replacement cannot provide a suitable remedy within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, we will offer an appropriate refund or another remedy required by applicable law.

Confirmed issue Usual replacement scope
A fault in the powered base, heating system, or controls A replacement base assembly. A compatible power cord is included if needed for safe operation. Keep the working lid, pots, and trays.
A manufacturing defect in the lid or lid assembly The defective lid or an appropriate replacement lid assembly. Keep the working base, pots, and trays.
A defective power cord A compatible replacement cord.
A manufacturing defect in an inner pot or steaming tray The affected pot or tray.
Several defective parts, or a replacement that is incompatible with retained parts The components necessary to provide a safe, compatible, functioning product, or another appropriate remedy.

A warranty replacement is not automatically a complete retail set. Extra inner pots, steaming trays, spare lids, power cords, and other functioning accessories are included only when they are themselves covered defective items, are necessary for compatibility or safe operation, or are specifically included in our written resolution.

The replacement will be suitable for the product version and electrical requirements we confirm for your service case. Where an identical version is unavailable, we may offer a compatible equivalent with no reduction in the essential function of the affected product. We will explain any material difference and obtain your agreement where required.

Support is coordinated through Dajepot. Service may involve an international shipment. We will confirm the included items, required retained items, shipping arrangements, and expected timing in writing. If timing changes, we will provide an update and the appropriate next steps. A free replacement shipment does not provide a new entitlement to the entire original order’s value solely because it is late; your rights to a timely warranty remedy remain.

Costs of covered service

For an approved covered claim, the warranty provider pays for the replacement component or agreed repair and the standard shipping needed to complete that remedy. Dajepot coordinates this service on its behalf. If we require a return, we will arrange and pay for the approved return method.

We will also arrange necessary customs documents and cover import or carrier charges required for a replacement shipped through the service route we authorize. Contact us if a carrier requests payment so we can resolve the charge.

An optional faster shipping upgrade or an additional item you request may carry a charge. We will explain any optional charge and obtain your agreement before proceeding. Free covered service is not conditional on purchasing an upgrade.

Do not arrange paid repairs or independent return shipping expecting reimbursement without contacting us first, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

How to make a claim

Email customersupport@dajepot.com with:

  1. Your order number or other proof of purchase.
  2. The model and serial number, if available.
  3. A description of the fault and when it first appeared.
  4. Clear photographs and, if safe and useful, a short video.
  5. Your current delivery location and contact details needed for service.

We will review the information and may request reasonable additional evidence or safe checks. We will not require you to operate a potentially unsafe cooker to prove a fault, open the electrical housing, or perform internal repairs. If you cannot provide a requested photograph or video, tell us so we can consider another reasonable way to assess the claim.

If the cooker may be unsafe, stop using it and disconnect it from power when safe to do so. Do not attempt to bypass a safety feature. Let the cooker cool and follow its instructions before opening or handling it.

We may request the affected product or component for inspection. We will provide instructions and shipping arrangements before you return it. We will explain a declined voluntary-warranty claim and the evidence supporting that decision. You may ask us to reconsider with additional information.

Keep the working components

Do not discard the cooker, lid, power cord, inner pots, trays, or other components unless Dajepot gives you specific written instructions identifying exactly what may be discarded.

For a base replacement, retain your working lid and accessories unless we instruct you otherwise. For a lid replacement, retain the base and other working components.

When a return is not required, keep the affected item until we confirm whether it must be retained or may be safely recycled. If disposal is approved, follow the instructions for that identified component.

If an item has already been disposed of, we may be unable to verify the fault. We will assess the evidence available and your applicable rights. If our instructions caused you to discard components needed to use the replacement, we will correct that mistake at our expense.

What this limited warranty excludes

Subject to applicable consumer law, this voluntary warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear, gradual deterioration, cosmetic marks, staining, or ordinary ageing that is not caused by a manufacturing defect.
  • Accidental breakage, impact damage, loss, or theft.
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, incorrect cleaning or maintenance, commercial use, or use contrary to the product instructions.
  • Damage caused by an unsuitable electrical supply or incorrect voltage. This does not exclude a remedy where Dajepot supplied or recommended the wrong electrical version.
  • Damage caused by incompatible parts, unsafe modifications, or repairs that caused the claimed fault.
  • Damage caused by fire, flooding, or another external event rather than a covered product defect.

These exclusions apply to the affected damage. Use of an independent repairer or a third-party part does not, by itself, cancel all coverage for unrelated defects. We will assess the cause of the claimed problem.

Normal wear of a gasket, pot, cord, or other component is not covered merely because it occurs during the warranty term. A manufacturing defect in that component is assessed under the same coverage rules as other components.

Coverage after repair or replacement

A component or assembly repaired or replaced under this warranty is covered for the longer of:

  • The remaining original warranty for that component or assembly; or
  • 6 months from the date you receive the repaired or replacement component or assembly.

This additional coverage applies to the serviced component or assembly. Replacing the base does not restart the warranty on working lids, pots, trays, or accessories that were not replaced.

Replacement coverage remains subject to these terms and any longer protection required by law. We will confirm the applicable coverage end date in the service resolution.

A previous replacement or goodwill exception does not create an automatic right to another complete retail set. However, we do not reject an otherwise valid covered claim merely because a repair or replacement was previously provided. Repeated faults will be reviewed to identify a suitable remedy, including a refund where required.

Service outside the voluntary warranty

Contact us if your product develops a problem after the voluntary warranty ends. We will first consider whether consumer law provides an ongoing remedy.

If no free remedy applies, we may offer a paid replacement component, replacement cooker, or another available service option. We will provide the scope and total price, including applicable shipping and import charges, before you agree. Paid service availability depends on the product version and available parts; it is not guaranteed in every location.

An optional goodwill offer will be described in writing, including what is provided and any additional coverage. It does not reduce statutory rights or replace another warranty commitment.

Consumer rights and earlier purchases

This limited warranty is additional to your mandatory consumer rights. It does not shorten a statutory guarantee, exclude required remedies, or remove legal rights to a refund, replacement, repair, cancellation, or compensation.

For qualifying EU purchases, a statutory legal guarantee of at least two years may apply. In Australia, applicable consumer guarantees can continue beyond this voluntary warranty, and a major failure may entitle you to choose a refund or replacement. Other countries, states, and provinces may provide additional rights.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State. Rights may also vary by province or country.

These new policy terms apply to purchases made after publication. Earlier orders remain subject to the terms and promises applicable when purchased, any later written service commitments, and mandatory consumer law. We will not retrospectively withdraw an existing right or commitment by publishing this policy.
